It was formerly known as the Yu Shi Jia Shu (Yee Clan) Family Association. Founded in 1929 with the aim of keeping in touch with clansmen and looking after their welfare, its membership was confined to Yee (Yu) clansmen from Taishan, Xinhui, Kaiping and Enping counties. It changed its name to the Yee Clan Association in 1950. In recent years, it has actively strengthened its links with fellow clan associations abroad and injecting new blood into the organization. Activities include sacrificial offerings, anniversary, the provision of scholarships, and liaison with fellow clansmen. W 6 ~<7
余氏总会前身是余氏家塾，于1929年为联络宗亲、照顾族人福利而成立。当时会员只限台山、新山、开平、恩平四县余姓人氏。1950年，余氏家塾改名为余氏总会。近年来， 除积极加强与国外宗亲团体的往来外，吸纳年轻新血也是该会努力不懈的方向。 M!m TNIj8~
